looks like the US Capitol in Washington.
Another wonderful National Park, but if the photos here and previous posts aren't enough to persuade you to book your airline tickets, then believe this - the best fruit pies in the world are right here
We remembered the fruit orchards here from camping among the apricot trees (and remembered the guy hospitalised after falling off the ladder whilst picking - now there are big notices explaining how to use said ladders). There are apples, pears, cherries, peaches all originating from the first Mormon tiny colonies in this remote valley, who had to be totally self sufficient.
And now these are THE best pies ever - made them lunch two days running. Made fresh every day they disappear off the shelves like sausage rolls from Gregg's ( yeah, well, sort of similar, but not really). Arguments ensued as to the tastiest - cherry, peach, mixed fruit or strawberry/rhubarb - the jury is out.
Before pies, we hiked this trail
Then after the pies and a nostalgic look at our lovely campsite, we retreated from the thunderstorms and flash floods in the canyons. Fortunately, to our comfortable apartment and not a small tent.
